The Grand Cru Quill Stem is made using a custom one-piece steel quill and extension. The clamp is welded onto the extension, and the weld is hand-filed smooth on top. This results in a strong, yet light, stem with a classic shape.
There is a 5mm boss on the drive side for mounting a Brass Temple Bell. Not compatible with the Striker Bell.

Der Grand Cru Quill Stem (Schaftvorbau) wird aus einem maßgefertigten, einteiligen Stahlschaft samt Verlängerung gefertigt. Die Klemmung ist an die Verlängerung geschweißt, und die Schweißnaht ist oben von Hand glatt gefeilt. Das Ergebnis ist ein stabiler und dennoch leichter Vorbau mit klassischer Form.
Auf der Antriebsseite befindet sich ein 5-mm-Dom zur Montage einer Temple-Bell aus Messing. Nicht kompatibel mit der Striker Bell.
